Behold! It must be another sign of the end of the world, because instead of insulting Miley Cyrus and call her an idiot like I would normally do, I will defend her.
This all started when she tweeted something about the beauty of science. Since I don’t follow her, I’ll just trust on the report from the guys at Fox News:
“The pop singer tweeted a photo of theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss, along with the word “beautiful.” On the photo is one of his quotes that reads, “You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements (carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, all things that matter for evolution) weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in stars. So forget Jesus. Stars died so you can live.””
Oh boy. But I suppose that people will get what she meant, right? I guess not.
“So you are no longer a Christian? Forget Jesus??? Seriously? What has happened to you out there in the famous world? What????,” one person wrote.
Another told the singer to simply “Go to hell.”
I just assumed that in between these tweets she posted pictures of herself offering blood to Joan Rivers to become one with Satan. But nope, people just snapped at her. Fortunatelly, it seems she isn’t that dumb, and her retort was:
“How can people take the love out of science and bring hate into religion so easily,” she wrote. “It makes me sad to think the world is this way. Like Einstein says “Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.”
Did she just quote Einstein and made everyone else look stupid? Yes she did. High five to her.
