I’ll explain this, in case someone doesn’t know how the whole thing started;
Charlie Sheen is a cooky dude, who enjoys getting high, drunk and have orgies with porn stars. Warner Brothers fired him because of that, even though he was showing up in time every day.
You know, the classic “We can’t have a cooky dude, who enjoys getting high, drunk and have orgies with porn stars, in order to play a character who is a cooky dude, and enjoys getting high, drunk and has orgies with anything! It’s not Kosher!!”
And Warner Brothers isn’t happy that Charlie’s new show sounds like the type of hilarious show they would never dare to produce. So they are trying to sabotage the promos. Via TMZ
Warner Bros. has fired off a cease and desist letter to Charlie Sheen and just about everyone else associated with his new TV show, claiming they’re ripping off “Two and a Half Men” to sell “Anger Management.”
Warner Bros. is pissed off because Charlie and company used “Two and a Half Men” photos in promotional material at a recent TV convention at the “Anger Management” booth
Oh noes. They are using photos we took to say “The guy who played this character, is now playing another one” What an outrage, that’s never been done before! Damn you Carlos Estevez, damn you!!!
But it gets better, because Charlie decided to reply and here’s what he had to say:
“I”m thrilled. It insulates me from having to redundantly see myself in the idiotic bowling shirt. Perhaps if Warner Bros. spent as much time and energy focusing on THEIR show, it wouldn’t be such a steaming pile of ass.”
And that’s a statement made entirely out of win. Fuck Warner. Charlie might be insane, but he’s funny.
