George Lucas Becomes More Idiotic Every Minute

I usually don’t talk about Star Wars, because it makes me look like a geek and chicks don’t dig that. But, since I don’t want your naked pictures anymore because I’m dating Gina Carano, I’ll talk about Star Wars (Seriously, stop sending the pictures, Gina will find you and hurt you)

Anyways, The Hollywood Reporter has a new interview with George Lucas and among other stuff, he talked about the famous Greedo vs Han Solo scene:

The controversy over who shot first, Greedo or Han Solo, in Episode IV, what I did was try to clean up the confusion, but obviously it upset people because they wanted Solo [who seemed to be the one who shot first in the original] to be a cold-blooded killer, but he actually isn’t. It had been done in all close-ups and it was confusing about who did what to whom. I put a little wider shot in there that made it clear that Greedo is the one who shot first, but everyone wanted to think that Han shot first, because they wanted to think that he actually just gunned him down.

Wait, what? Holly fuck he keeps proving he has no idea of what the fans want to see. The complaints were never about Han Solo being a “cold-blooded killer” It’s a fucking spaghetti western scene! People just expected Han Solo to be awesome and be faster to draw the gun.

What’s next? Saying that Clint Eastwood is the bad guy in all the westerns he made, because he shoots people? Or maybe remove the light saber fights, because you never intended the movies to be inspired by Akira Kurosawa  and the people got it wrong.

I swear, I’m going to punch this guy one day. What a prick.
